About Fishing Planet
Fishing Planet is a one-of-a-kind, extremely realistic online first-person multiplayer fishing simulator created by passionate fishermen for other fishermen to offer you the entire experience of real fishing!
Pick your lures, capture your trophies, explore new possibilities, and hone your true fishing inner with your friends anywhere and anytime!
Why Fishing Planet?
This is a true-to-life fishing simulator that can help you improve your actual angling skills thanks to stunning eye-catching graphics, incredible hydrodynamics and aerodynamics, as well as realistic tackle response and damage inspired by real physics.
And most importantly, fish with AI technologies for an entirely lifelike behavior!
The actual world of fishing will be brought to your screen thanks to the mix of unique visuals, realistic game mechanics, and smart AI.
The Multiplayer in Fishing Planet
Multiplayer fishing tournaments, room-based fishing, hundreds of gear combinations with varying hydrodynamic qualities, gorgeous first-person visuals, water graphics impacted by weather, seasons and weather change, and time of day adjustments are all included in Fishing Planet.
Collecting and constructing your gear sets for each area and target fish are the other aspects of the game.
There are dozens of rods, reels, lines, lures, and baits to pick from, and each fish has its own preferences. So there’s a wide range of what will and won’t work.
It’s not uncommon to find three or more bait/lures that will attract any fish, and careful bait/lure selection may help you attract more profitable fish while leaving the less lucrative ones behind.
And did you know that the time of day and the weather have an impact on fish behavior?
Can You Still Play Solo?
While the game is played online and has multiplay feature, it doesn’t mean that you always need to play with other people. The online aspect functions as an optional social element. Meaning you can play alone if you want.
The in-game communication is limited to only four people per chat room and is customized to each lake.
You still can make a private room for a single-player game, or a Friends Only room for friends to join, or a Public Room for everyone to see.
This choice is made while traveling to a new place, but it may be modified at any moment after you arrive by going back to the Map page.
